Jungle – FR
Everyday at Calais, France, hundreds of migrants and refugees attempt to cross the English Channel by dangerously getting on train, ferries, lorries and cars.
Thousand of them live in the « Jungle », a camp at proximity of the Eurotunnel. There is mainly people from the Horn of Africa, Sudanese and Afghans organised in areas. There is schools, churches and shops. Even if the conditions are hard, especially in winter time, they feel better here than in their own country, keeping hope and smile.
